Earliest pressing! Evidence:

 

·         Textured cover – outer AND inner

·         Silver edging around title on front cover

·         Cover made from dark grey card

·         Inner lyric sheet is made from paper, not card, with the rough inside finish

·         Labels have the darker brick red colour

·         No ‘W’ logo at 3 ‘o’ clock

·         A1 / B1 matrix numbers

 

Condition:

 

·         The vinyl has a little ‘finger mark’ crackle on the lead in and first rotations on both sides. There is also the merest hint of static crackle in the quietest passages. Apart from that, reproduction is a strong EX+ / EX++. There are no audible scratches or jumps, and a professional clean would probably remove the minor crackle issues.

 

·         The outer cover is in EX++ condition, with absolutely no feathering of the opening edges. There is just a small sticker removal mark on the rear cover. The only other item of note is that the printing on the spine is slightly off centre. No rim wear or splits!


·         The inner sleeve has no splits.

A very desirable first pressing of this classic album in fantastic overall condition.
