CONDITION:
A note on grading I use the Record Collector grading system with the addition of a (+) or a (-) to denote a slight increase or decrease in condition. Items described with an aural grade have been carefully played on a Thorens TD-124 MKII with an SME 3012 Tonearm and Ortofon SPU moving Coil Cartridge.
I have been collecting and trading records for many years and genuinely want you to be happy with your purchase. For this reason compounded further by my interest as an audiophile I treat grading very seriously and strictly enough to please all potential bidders (See feedback for peace of mind)… All of Audio Grails records are guaranteed. If you'd like any further details, feel free to e-mail me with your questions or requests: audiograil@mail.com
Cover:
The Rodger Dean designed Matte Gatefold cover has retained it’s original colour, the edges / seams are absolutely arrow straight and the corners sharp and true (very minimal light rubbing). The spine is superbly clean, the text clear and bright. The opening edge is razor sharp and un feathered. The back cover still retains its full colour and unlike so many other copies has no ring wear or fading (See pics above). There are no: bends, writing, stickers, rips or tears of any kind. The inside of the gatefold is superbly clean no detractors what so ever. The 8 page internally fixed booklet is pristine, no creases, folds, writing, tears, stains or aging. Condition Grade = Near Mint (NM) Please take the time to study the images above for a clear view of condition
Record
The surfaces of the disk are pristine featuring a full glossy lustre under direct angled light. The disk is flat with no warp or buckle of any kind. (Please listen to the above recording taken from the actual disk for sale). Under angled 100W light the playing surface does display very light paper chaffing consistent with the record being removed and replaced within the inner sleeve. These do not produce any audible effect what so ever. The Red / Plum first press labels show light signs of use to the spindle hole only, There is no, colour fading, writing, or other detractors. Label condition = EX+. Condition grade of the vinyl surfaces visually = Near Mint. Aurally = Near Mint. I have listened through both sides keenly to arrive at the grade of Near Mint (NM). Please take the time to study the images above and listen to the sound clips which I hope illustrate the condition of this record far better than wordy descriptions
