AND THE ORIGINAL WHITE POLY-LINED INNER SLEEVE (DATE CODED '0870' - August, 1970)
GREAT COPY OF ONE OF YES' POOREST SELLING RECORDS - IT SPENT ONLY 3 WEEKS IN THE UK CHART IN AUGUST 1970, PEAKING AT No. 45 (and in consequence is one of their hardest to find, especially in such wonderful condition)

Clean, bright, fresh and unmarked labels with only light spindle trails - less than a dozen
VINYL Visual: EXCELLENT++
The record lies perfectly flat on the turntable and both surfaces retain their original deep glossy sheen. There are some light wispy hairlines but these have no audio consequence - the playback is superb
VINYL Audio: MINT-
The audio on this first pressing is absolutely sensational - tremendously strong, rich and vibrant with a crystal clear, sharp, fresh and immediate sound. My one careful play-check at a loud volume revealed no audio issues of note - no scratches, no loud clicks or pops or even any surface noise (the run-ins, track divisions and quieter sections all play just about as silently as you could wish for). This is a really beautiful playing copy and the whole LP sounds stunning from start to finish with no hint of groove-wear or distortion
SLEEVE: NEAR MINT
The original issue matt cover is also in beautiful condition - one of the finest I have seen - it's clean and unmarked with crisp, square edges and spine which display very little storage wear - all text on the spine (which is 'pinched' at the top and bottom) is clear and bold. Apart from one light half-moon crease at the opening edge the sleeve is practically like-new
INSERT: NEAR MINT
The original lyric insert is beautifully white and unmarked with only the lightest signs of ever being handled
INNER SLEEVE: EXCELLENT
The original poly-lined inner sleeve is unmarked with no splits - just some age-related creasing/discolouration
