Hello and welcome to one of my auctions! I am a record collector for over 15 years now and I think it’s about time to sell a couple records to make some room and pass it on to another collector. This week’s auctions feature my pop and progressive records that are from my own personal collection, so here we go!
On offer, a very rare first U.K. stereo pressing of Yes – Yes on the PLUM - RED Atlantic label, cat. no. 588 190, with rare insert.
The record is in EX condition, there are a few non-sounding hairlines and one or two visible, but non-sounding lines. The labels are in EX condition as well, there are a few spindle marks only.
The cover is in EX condition, there is some very slight ring wear on the spine and just very faint ring wear on the back and also on the back, there is a small ‘20’ written in biro. Besides mentioned tiny imperfections this cover looks great, no further writing, no rips or tears or other damage. The insert is also present and is in EX condition, besides some very light handling and storage wear, there is nothing wrong with this lyrics insert. The original Polydor company inner sleeve is also still present, and it’s in EX condition, besides a little handling wear, it looks great.
This is an extremely rare U.K. pressing of Yes’ debut album on the PLUM - RED Atlantic label. Most pressings of this records have the Green – Orange label, with a completely different catalogue number. This is your chance to own an original Yes Record, before Atlantic was bought by the Kinney Group. Happy Bidding!
