Description

YESTERDAY’S CHILDREN-45-  “To Be Or Not To Be” b/w Baby, I Want You”-Parrot Records #45-PAR-314-DJ Issue-KILLERKOOL & MONSTER 1967 Connecticut Garage-Punk…actually this was Released in February 1967, but recorded late 1966…Most of you know the MONSTER A side from Greg Shaw’s ‘Pebbles’ series…if not, it is totally over-the-edge-dual guitar driven-one guitar doing a ‘Paint It, Black’ riff while the other comes in sporadically as an ominous step-fuzz riff-fast and furious dual lead-great guttural/shouted lead vocal, trippy lyrics, great haunted backing vocals…JUST KILLER TO THE MAX. B side is more ‘soulful’, sort of choppy James Brown “Papa’s Got A Brand New Bag”-style guitar riffing…not intense like the A side; has a quick and cool lead break…This is the same band that issued a psych-fuzz album on Map City a couple of years later…comes with cool ‘London Records’ stock sleeve…

Condition: Record is VG or better…almost VG+…has some light surface and paper scuffs visible in certain light angles…actually UNPLAYED, no wear from playing…
Label has date and an ‘x’ in black marker on A side (see photo)…B side clean…label is ‘loose’ slightly on edge (see photo also)…really nothing…
