MEGARARE and HARD-TO-FIND original Philips Records very first Stereo press released, made and distributed in Chile in 1977 by Philips Records, licensed from Philips Records, Mexico, through Phonogram International B.V., Holland, catalog number 6065 228, with hand etched matrix numbers 6065-228-A MSM-C in Side A and 6065-228-B MSM-C in Side B, with traditional blue/silver Philips Records labels and solid center. It’s interesting to notice that in the deadwax of both sides it’s written the exact day of pressing, “19-7-77” (July 19th of 1977). Yes, Sirs, ANOTHER FIND from Chile!!!

“Dame Un Beso Y Dime Adios” was originally released late 1976 in Mexico and we had to wait until 1977 to see this single released here in Chile. Yndio is a very popular Mexican band of the ‘70’s which recorded some international hits with Spanish lyrics and its version of The Manhattans’ “Last Kiss And Say Goodbye” became even a bigger hit than original English version in Latin America. Song titles are written in Spanish only, with full credits for songwriters and additional information about licenses and play time of each song. So, here you have the chance to get and own this MEGARARE CHILEAN PRESS of this single by Mexican band Yndio, with rare Spanish-sung versions of The Manhattans’ “Last Kiss And Say Goodbye” and The Stylistics’ “Because I Love You, Girl”, a record NEVER SEEN BEFORE and now auctioned here in eBay by the very first time!!! WOW!!! A MUST TO HAVE for all fans, lovers and collectors of Yndio, The Manhattans, The Stylistics and Soul music!!!

This record doesn’t come with a cover. The record is in great EX- or EX condition both sides, glossy and clean, with only soft scuffs and light hairlines, hard to see at first sight, which don’t affect play at all. Labels are in nice EX+ or NM- condition both sides, clean and clear, with only some spindle hole wear. The sound is in strong EX or EX+ condition both sides, loud, clear and clean, virtually no background noise (surface noise is normal in records from Chile), with only minimal occasional soft crackles here and there, barely audible, a bit more “evident” at the last seconds of each side, which of course don’t cause any distraction from the great sound this record keeps from the beginning to the end. Overall, a record in a great condition, with a very nice look, almost immaculate labels and still superb sound quality after about 44 years, which won’t disappoint anyone!!! And keep in mind this single includes the songs already informed SUNG IN SPANISH, a record NEVER SEEN BEFORE and in GREAT CONDITION!!! Yes, Sirs, what a FIND!!! We don’t use the generic “VG” most of South American sellers use to hide poor quality conditions or “NM” or “Mint” for records which aren’t even clean and sound less than a normal “VG” in professional standards. We use the Record Collector’s Grading System with a little modification: we don’t use MINT grade but for Sealed records and we can use a + or – to show a most professional accurate description.

MINT (M): I only use this grade for Sealed records.

NEAR MINT (NM): The record itself is in like new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality (only some very very very light hairlines caused for the record rubbing the sleeve). The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in like perfect condition.

EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality, maybe some surface marks which doesn’t affect play. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.

GBP15 for weight until 1kg (usually 1 or 2 records 12" depending on thickness of the vinyl)

GBP25 for weight 1-2kg (usually 3-5 records 12")

All records will be packed outside of the sleeve to avoid damages in the cover and all records will be sent with tracking number via Small Packet or Parcel Post services.
