Here is a 2nd Edition release of Glenn Miller and his orchestra. The album includes an 11 page biography of Glenn Miller by George Frazier. There are 59 recordings on 5 33 rpm long playing records each in their original sleeves.
Many unavailable performances which Glenn Miller broadcast for Chesterfield cigarettes. The white colored album measures approx 12 3/4" x 13" with gold-tone printing.

Please view the pictures in SUPER-SIZE to get a better view of this item because, as they say, a picture is worth a 1000 words. Although we attempt to describe items accurately we sometimes make mistakes. Generally, our pictures are taken with a good (Nikon) camera and are dependable. If you want to see something we don't show please email us your request.

Shipping

Shipping cost shown in this listing is for the continental USA only.

Insurance:   eBay policy (effective September, 2009) no longer allows insurance to be at the Buyer's option.  We object to this policy but we follow the rules.  If you object, we encourage you to contact eBay and complain.  Perhaps they will eliminate this senseless policy.

While this eBay policy is in effect we will usually list items without insurance because we do not believe the selling price justifies the additional cost of insurance.

When we list items for sale that we feel should be insured (high-value breakables, etc.) we may include insurance coverage in the shipping cost.  The item description will then contain a bold-font statement saying: This item will be shipped with insurance included.

If you prefer insurance regardless of eBay's policy we are here to satisfy you the Buyer.  Please email us after the auction closes and wait for us to send an invoice to you before paying for the item.

In general terms, we do not ship outside of the USA.  On the other hand we know that from time to time someone is very interested in something we have to offer. 

We will try to accommodate you on an exception basis by adding you to our Buyer Requirements Exemption List on eBay for the duration of the auction.  Please email us  including: your eBay UserID, the eBay item# of interest and your preference for shipping and insurance.  We will consider the exemption and respond to you including the increased shipping & insurance charges as quickly as possible

UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED IN THE DESCRIPTION the following are our standard terms of sale:

SATISFACTION IS OUR GOAL: If for any reason you are not satisfied please email us within 3 days of receipt and let us know what the problem is.  I will provide you with shipping information and you can return the item to us at your expense.  Immediately after receiving the item in original condition we will refund 100% of your purchase price for the item. Our initial shipping fee will not be refunded.

FEEDBACK: We will leave positive feedback for you immediately after payment has been received.  It's the very least we can do to say "Thank You" for submitting the winning bid on our auction.

We expect that you will be pleased with your purchase because we attempt to be as honest and up-front as we can in our description of the item.  If so, PLEASE LEAVE POSITIVE FEEDBACK FOR US IMMEDIATELY AFTER RECEIPT. 

About Us

We are a mature couple looking to distribute some of our past "treasures" to someone who would enjoy them now.  In the process we manage to eliminate some of the "clutter" from our lives and perhaps, it allows us to buy something else we cannot live without.

Although our usual (unspoken) agreement is that my wife buys and I ultimately sell there are some things that I am responsible for buying as well (but I may not admit that to her).  When I was a youngster I bought numerous baseball and football cards during 1953-1955.  Some of these are PSA-graded however, due to the grading fee and typical eBay value, most are not.  If you are looking for something specific, contact us to see if we might be able to help each other.
