Description

You are bidding on an unusual group of 16-inch vinyl radio transcription discs recorded in almost exact sequential order as broadcast initially on ABC and then to our troops, 1956-1957.

These recordings were acquired from a recent estate sale.

There are 26 discs containing parts 1 and 2 of thirteen 25 minute programs of the comedy-quiz show GROUCHO MARX aka YOU BET YOUR LIFE, and on the reverse thirteen 30 minute programs of the musical variety show HOWARD BARLOW PRESENTS aka THE VOICE OF FIRESTONE.

The discs are in very good to excellent condition and a sampling that was played was in excellent sound. We have not been able to audition each program, but finding them in presumably chronological order is quite rare indeed.
