I believe the letter and the press-info were meant to be with some test pressing copy of the standard LP as they read "..please find enclosed a sleeve proof and test pressing of a double compilation album we are issuing shortly, compiled by a journalist named Nigel Burnham who was responsible for an earlier compilation called 'Hicks From The Sticks'...." - at some point letter and press kit put together in this special promo copy as this is how it's been in my collection since the '80s.
