ORIGINAL (1964) U.S FIRST PRESSING ON IMPULSE!   WONDERFUL MID-1960s STEREO PRESSING. (IMPULSE! A-69). AN IMPORTANT LIVE POST-BOP JAZZ RECORDING AT PEP'S. . .MID '60s recording


Recorded June 29, 1964 , this original U.S. pressing of "YUSEF LATEEF LIVE AT PEP'S"  certainly will not disappoint.

Personnel include Yuseff on tenor sax, oboe, argol, shannas; RICHARD WILLIAMS, trumpet; MIKE NOCK, piano; ERNIE FARROW, bass; JAMES BLACK, drums  -LIVE at Pep's..

Condition Report:

Vinyl: VG++  (shows only superficial sleeve marks; some lines all seem inaudible; glossy  with clean and bright labels; Rudy Van Gelder engraved dead wax; substanial vinyl platter and by all appearances seems little played and carefully handled; one would be quite happy with this record's condition & jazz date).

Cover:  VG++ (For one, it opens up stiff always a good sign of little use; clean and bright; typical self wear rubbed corners, for example--NO defacing writings of any kind; straight edge spine!! Lustre laminated cover....again, all very clean with excellent liner note information...)
