Description
Rare Private Press LP from the Source Family in-house band on their imprint HigherKey Records. Recorded in the garage of their communal home this is some spiritual home-brew macrobiotic fermented psych rock featuring the vocal stylings of Father Yod himself. This raw, organic, vegetarian ensemble was as likely to release a record of free form head scratch as they were to release a record like this one, filled with several blues psych pop pieces and packaged in a sleeve that stares back into your soul. With their insular home-grown family beliefs as their only compass/mission they traversed a path all their own.
In good shape for its age and religious beliefs, and including original record slip sleeve with the groups Aquarian names, instruments played, and silhouettes on one side.
Held to a light you can see slight surface scuffs, a slight warp, and a pressing anomaly that left a small shallow divot on the last band of Side B which does not skip, but does present a faint surface noise. Outer sleeve has a piece of clear tape along the top to prevent the seam from ripping further (it had reached halfway point). Inner sleeve has clear tape on one side and a discoloration in one corner.
Amazing artifact of this insanely creative collective. Bask in the Source Glow and listen to this pressing while drinking a cold-pressed juice. It's what they would have wanted.
