This LP is mentioned in a recent issue of Rolling Stone (with Jimmy Page on the cover). The interviewer identifies this LP as being one of the rarest LPs featuring Jimmy Page, as Jimmy forced the label to quickly withdraw it after it was released. This LP features a live Yardbirds show from 1968, and was released in 1971 after Led Zeppelin gained popularity. LP is a solid VG+, with several faint scuffs and a couple of tiny light scratches. LP is very clean and retains a nice gloss. LP plays with light surface noise (crackle and tics). Listen to a couple of tracks from this actual LP for reference:
Stamped matrix info reads P AL 30615-1A / P BL 30615-1A. Jacket is VG+, with a small seam split in the front lower right corner. This starts at the corner and travels toward the spine about 1/4 inch. There is wear on all corners and seams. There is ring wear on the front of the jacket. There is wear along the mouth on the back of the jacket. Color on the front is still bright, and the front of the jacket also retains a nice gloss. Don't miss this rare gem!
