Description
This is the CBS Mastersound half speed remaster of the classic Yardbirds Roger the Engineer album. This particular copy is in excellent shape, I purchased it new (in the late 80s I am sure) and have cared for it well. The cover shows some shelf wear and some crease marks...nothing you wouldn't find on something brand new in the record bins back in the day. I kept this thing in the original oversized plastic sleeve so is as good as it can be for its age.
The LP is very clean, I have not played it in ages but I know it has never seen abuse. It has only been traced by audiophile grade cartridges (Grado, Audioquest, Sumiko) correctly aligned in an equally good tonearms (Rega, Ariston) and spun by a good deck (Ariston, VPI). In a nice MFSL style rice paper sleeve (I think the CBS Mastersound series came in a rice paper lined paper sleeve so I must have upgraded for this lp).

Not only did I get this for the audiophile pressing, but it was terribly rare at the time to find it in ANY version. This copy includes the rare tracks "Happenings Ten Years Time Ago" and "Psycho Daisies" which are two recordings featuring Jeff Back and Jimmy Page at the same time.
