Condition
Record: VG (Play tested whole lp (as was my first copy and to be fair I love the LP anyhow :) ). Sound is clear and bright. Has a whoosh on track one both sides due to a very minor edge warp that is barely noticeable save for the whoosh but it's there so must mention. Tracks are loud so its of little effect and in no way will it cause a jump. Some scuffs and two on side one look worry but have little to no effect plays really well)
Sleeve:VG (Sleeve has original owners initials by serial number on rear. and a little ringwear on un-laminated rear)
I use record collector grading but also add a + and - where necessary since their grading standard can be too simplistic.
Mint (M): The record is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.; Please note I normally use Near Mint since unless sealed there will always be a minor imperfection!
Excellent (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
Very Good (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
