Description
I will be listing 50 or so classic rock/prog albums, all of which have come from a very well looked after collection. Most of which have been stored in plastic sleeves which would explain the remarkable condition of many of the sleeves, some of which are as close to mint as you could get.
Some great titles to be listed, including Hawkwind, Yes, Jimi Hendrix Experience, Santana, Free Black Sabbath and Deep Purple. Many of them 1st pressings in timewarp condition.
This auction is for a superb UK 1st Press copy of Prog Rock Band Yes - Close To The Edge - K 50012 This was their 5th studio album released in 1972

This is the UK 1st Pressing of this album in stunning condition, just some very slight paper scratches where it has been removed but they can only be seen in strong light, no effect to play.
Price reflects the stunning condition.
This is a superb record and rare to find in this condition. Both vinyl and sleeve are spectacular. The spine is sharp with no damage, a little shelfwear, just along top and bottom edge of spine

Condition of vinyl is Excellent+. Very very faint paper scratches but can only be seen in strong light or sunlight
The original green inner sleeve is Ex+, just a few slight creases.
Textured outer sleeve is Ex+ just a tiny bit of shelfwear to top and bottom of spine and a mark left from an old price ticket, which could possibly be removed, using the right tools.
Overall this is a superb copy. The gradings are conservative and the vinyl could easily be a mint- by other standards.
