Description

Yes "Close to The Edge" Atlantic SD-7244, 1972. White label promo copy; labels state 'sample copy not for sale'. First press with '1841 Broadway' label and back cover address. 'DJ' matrix printed on labels, etched into the dead wax; 'GP' initials in deadwax idicate George Piros was the mastering engineer. Both sides 1 and 2 are banded. Record is in VG+/VG++ condition with light sleeve marks, a few light hairlines. Gatefold cover and lyric-printed inner sleeve are in VG+ condition with light to moderate edge / spine wear; inner sleeve has some edge splitting. Front cover has rectangular promo sticker.
