Here is a rare condition copy of Tales From Topographic Oceans by Yes on a USA Atlantic SD 2-908 white label promotional banded double vinyl LP pressing. The jacket is VG+ due to light wear on the front left edge and ever so slight beginning signs of ring wear plus a cut notch on the bottom right edge. There are no splits, other wear, holes, dings, dents or tears. The LP’s are both like new near mint with NO spindle marks and spotless vinyl surfaces. All four sides have the white Atlantic label, not the custom labels the stock copies came with. The sides are also banded for DJ cueing, but the play grade revealed that there are no edits on the bands, the sides play through complete with no interruptions. The sides also played a very quiet near mint minus, only the slightest ever of any light noise, not even any random ticking, no explosive (or any) pops and no ripping or surface noise. I don’t believe these LP’s to have ever been played before. The trail off matrixes all have –DJ suffixes and PR initials.

Beautiful early promotional copy, I usually NEVER see this title pop up yet alone in this condition. This album was the follow up to Close To The Edge, super progressive, all kinds of fractured time signatures. Each side is an individual piece. Rick Wakeman actually had enough by the time this album came out and had left the band to be replaced by Patrick Moraz on the next album Relayer. Nice condition and rare copy…
