LMFP celebrates the 50th anniversary of You're A Good Sport, Charlie Brown with the first-ever release of Vince Guaraldi's complete soundtrack, set uniquely to 12" 45rpm zoetrope vinyl - the zoetrope extends up from the disc's circumference, animating a scene from the TV special, thus uniting sound and vision in full stroboscopic effect. Originally scored for the 1975 Emmy-winning Peanuts special by Charles Schulz, the record offers 14 soundtrack pieces plus unheard Peanuts cutting floor material, freshly mixed from the original 2" session tapes and mastered in high-bit, pristine sound. Guaraldi's iconic piano patters are heard accompanied by Seward McCain on electric contrabass, Mark Rosengarden on drums, and conducting by John Scott Trotter. Bonus tracks are also included, with unused opening cues and selections from Guaraldi's 1974 film Bicycles Are Beautiful.
