DESCRIPTION :
Yusef Lateef, Prayer to the East , Savoy label. MG 12117. RVG. Etched out call numbers in dead wax (see pics). Printed in USA. LP record album, 33 RPM.
Graded visually only unless otherwise noted.
CONDITION : GOLDMINE STANDARDS: Good record in Good+ jacket:
RECORD: labels are nice; very light spindle wear; vinyl surface is covered with light scuffs and scratches; appx. three or four 1" scratches that can be felt with a fingernail; A side track 1 has two or three minor skips/pops ( wasn't quite sure if they are actual skips or pops - maybe it will play better on a different turntable and better stylus. I have a Sony turntable with low end stylus.); else, played through fine with typical light surface noise; buying as is; the price reflects the condition for this rare album.
JACKET: some lamination bubbling/creasing at front panel; minor corner wear; couple 2" and 3" seam splits at bottom edge; nice spine; minor ring wear; some writing at back panel; minor 1" corner split at top edge.
INNER SLEEVE / LINER: is an Impulse inner sleeve (not sure if original); complete seam split; corner creasing; normal minor age tan.
