Z Z Top "Z Z Top's First Album"
This is an original US vinyl pressing on London PS 584 from 1971. This was their first album. This was before they had any radio hits. One single was released, but it didn't sell : 'Somebody Else Been Shaking Your Tree' backed with 'Neighbor Neighbor'. They play heavy blues rock. It's hard to believe it's only 3 guys. The slightly textured front cover makes this a very hard to find in near mint condition.
Overall Condition is : Cover is M- / Record is M
The cover is Mint minus with no ring wear, no writing , and no seam splits. The cover has the slightest possible wear and is almost mint. The vinyl looks mint and it plays mint. The labels are perfect with no spindle marks. The record comes in a custom inner sleeve. There are wrinkles on the inner sleeve.
The songs are : (Somebody Else Been ) Shaking Your Tree, Brown Sugar, Squank, Goin Down To Mexico, Old Man, Neighbor Neighbor, Certified Blues, Bedroom Thang, Just Got Back From Baby's, and Backdoor Love Affair.
About Me :
I started collecting records in 1966. I started selling in Goldmine in 1985. I now sell records at all Northwest record conventions : Portland, Seattle, Tacoma, Eugene, Grants Pass, and Canby. And at Crossroads Music in Portland, Oregon. My records are from a no smoking and no pets home.
Packaging :
I take great care on every package and I do each one personally. I will package this record between two pieces of hand cut cardboard. One sheet is 5/8 inch thick triple strength industrial cardboard. The other sheet is 1/4 inch double strength cardboard. Together they are very strong and unbendable. ( Even the postmen comment on how strong this cardboard is ! ) I always remove the record from the cover and seal them in a clear plastic album sleeve. The package will be marked in red : "Fragile Record" on both sides.
Postage : Weight : 1 pound 3 ounces
You have to pay for the postage. I pre-weigh every record, so that you pay the exact amount the post office changes. There are no handling charges. This record will weigh 19 ounces ( 1 pound, 3 ounces ) when ready to ship. US bidders can figure out your own postage costs for US Priority or Media Mail. All US winners will get shipping through Paypal and a email with the tracking number. Overseas bidders must use First Class Mail International. I will let you know the date I mailed your record and the US customs number. ( Buyers from Italy must assume all risks for shipping to their country. ) I will send your record as soon as you pay ( same day if before 2 PM and next day if after 2 PM : Monday thru Saturday) I will combine shipping if you win more than one record. Please wait for me to send you an invoice for all of your records in one package.
