FRANK ZAPPA

FANS & RECORD COLLECTORS!!!

On the auction block today are vinyl copies of 2 Frank Zappa records. All are Barking Pumpkin releases from 1988 and were among the very last from that company before they went to CD only releases. The first is the “You Can’t Do That On Stage Anymore Sampler” double album gatefold set. The second is the “YCDTOSA Vol. 2 The Helsinki Concert” three record set.

CONDITION

The picture posted is of the actual items that you will receive. The records show no visible scratches or scuffing. Oh, by the way, they play really great too. That’s right, these are play graded by me in excellent condition. The gatefold sleeve for the sampler is in excellent condition with no wear at all. The box for Vol. 2 is in similar shape with no dings, tears or drill out holes at all. There is an insert with the credits and an ad for “Honker Home Video” in the Vol. 2 box. All records are in excellent play graded condition in poly bags as originally issued. There is a Barking Pumpkin sales form in both sets that promotes the “Old Masters Set Box 2”. You see both these records on Ebay from time to time but never ever offered together like this for one price! Vol. 1 is by far the more common of the two offered here usually selling in the $25 - $30 range. Vol. 2 however is rather rare. It was one of the very last Barking Pumpkin releases on vinyl before the CD revolution. I’ve seen it go from $60 - $120. Take advantage of this opportunity to complete your collection now and achieve total conceptual continuity!

TERMS

Bidding will start at the insanely low price of $84.99 for both records with no reserve! Your Zappa artifacts will be carefully packaged to assure that they arrive to you safely via USPS media mail to anywhere in the United States for FREE!

A brief note to international bidders: Your shipping will definitely not be free. I do not normally open my auctions to anything other than USA because of the potential for outrageous shipping costs you will probably be charged. This seems to be more and more of a problem lately. A recent example is 2 albums from North Carolina to Amsterdam and the best shipping I could find was $33! So, if you want to bid on this and you are anything other than USA message thru EBay first and I will let you bid assuming you have good positive feedback history but buyer beware of the shipping. I will be happy to supply receipts that show the amount spent on shipping your items if requested.

Payment is by Paypal only. Some form of communication is required from you as to your method of payment within 24 hours of close of the auction. Payment is generally required within three days.
