Description
Rare and collectible psych LP from Indiana and one of the best on the 700 West label. Great production and songwriting definitely puts this in the top category of private press classics.
The front cover is VG with some wear, with no seam splits on any edges. The back cover, however, appears to have been colored with a blue dye and several "doodling" scratches with a sharp instrument, even tearing part of the sketched portrait (believed to be of guitarist Steve Newbold, aka Stoney Wellitz???...) Please check the pictures carefully, as you will see the damage to the picture as well as some of the slash lines in the artwork. The back cover's original color should have been in black and white. There is slight warping on the edge of the jacket's right side.
The LP is VG to an almost VG+, with some visible not too deep scratches and minor markings that do not detract too much when playing. There were no skips on my turntable when I played both sides. The labels are pretty nice. The record itself is the best one I've had out of the 3 I've ever acquired. If I had still had the other 2 and switched covers, I would rate this one and overall VG+. I am conservative in grading, so please bid with confidence that you are getting exactly what is described.
Good luck!!!! Don't miss your chance to own this incredible record. I will be listing more records including other 700 West titles within the next few days, so please check again for my other auctions. Thanks!!!!
