ZOOT SIMS-BOB BROOKMEYER OCTET: "STRETCHING OUT" LP - On UNITED ARTISTS Records, UAS 5023.  Rare vintage jazz Lp!  Original stereo 1st pressing from 1959 with eye-popping cheesecake front cover.  The label is DEEP GROOVE on both sides.  Thick vinyl, thick laminated cardboard cover.  The personnel:  Zoot Sims/tenor sax; Bob Brookmeyer/valve trombone; Al Cohn/tenor and baritone saxes; Harry Edison/trumpet; Charlie Persip/drums; Hank Jones/piano; Eddie Jones/bass; Freddie Green/guitar.  The vinyl is in M- condition (absolutely beautiful sheen)!!  The thick laminated cover is in VG++ shape, displays wonderfully.  Light storage wear & a few stains on back.  Very tiny tear at top right corner.  No seam splits, no cut-out marks, and the front cover graphics are particularly striking.  The songs are:  Stretching Out; Now Will You Be Good; Pennies From Heaven; King Porter; Ain't Misbehavin'; Bee Kay.
