Joe Newman & Zoot Sims "Locking Horns" Rama LP-1003
Original U.S. release mono pressing from 1957: Joe Newman & Zoot Sims "Locking Horns" Rama LP-1003. Rare, original mono pressing on the dark blue Rama Label with deep groove and "pianist" logo at top, with thick, heavy vinyl. The vinyl on his LP is the finest example you will ever see! The vinyl surface looks like it has never been played, and the LP has been stored in its original wax paper sleeve. The vinyl surface is very, very clean and glossy, graded in NM+ condition. Both of the labels are very clean and in solid condition. Th laminated jacket is clean on both the front and back, and has strong seams. The jacket is graded in a strong VG+ to EX condition. Along with Sims on tenor sax and Newman on trumpet, the LP also features the likes of Oscar Pettiford on bass, Adrian Acea on piano and Osie Johnson on drums. The best example of vinyl condition you will find on this LP.
