This is the UK 1st Press of ‘Down Home' by Zoot Sims. This earliest press is complete with the rare gold and black Parlophone label, the original A-1N / B-1N matrix, the original heavy vinyl and polylined inner sleeve. The vinyl has the original flipback Ernest J Day, heavy card laminated sleeve.
The vinyl is in Excellent condition. The vinyl has a sensational jet black gloss, every track gleams. There are just a couple of wispy hairlines. The label is superb. The black is flawless, the gold text is immaculate and there is just the slightest spindle wear.
The sound quality is Excellent. The vinyl lies completely flat on the turntable and the sound is exceptionally rich and vibrant. There is Excellent audio separation and clarity throughout.
The vinyl is complete with the original inner sleeve in Excellent condition.
The Ernest J Day flipback laminated sleeve is in Near Mint condition. The sleeve is absolutely superb. The laminate has a stunning mirrored shine, the green is vivid and the whole of the sleeve is completely solid and flat. There is tiny wear to the corners. The back cover is also exceptionally clean and bright. The white is crisp and clean, the text is sharp and the flipbacks are sealed and complete.
