Description
American saxophonist Zoot Sims had a recording career spanning the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s. This album was recorded live at the iconic Ronnie Scott's jazz club in London in November 1961 and features a number of well known sidemen of the time such as: Stan Tracey (misspelt Tracy on the sleeve!), Jimmy Deucher, Harold McNair, Jeff Cline, Phil Seamen, Ronnie Scott and others.
Passed down to me, this record is from my personal collection. The vinyl condition is rated as Very Good + (VG+), as it plays throughout with no scratches or jumps and only has the odd few minor clicks (tested on a high-end system) - amazing for a 64 year old LP! Similarly, the sleeve is in VG+ condition with just some yellowing around the edge and a slight mark at the top where there was obviously a sticker once upon a time (see photo).
Photos are of the actual LP for sale, not 'stock' photos.
