ZZ Top, that "lil ol' band from Texas", released their third studio album way back in 1973. It's amazing, and chock full of blusey, rockin' hits! Don't believe me? Check this list out: "La Grange", "Waitin' For the Bus", "Jesus Just Left Chicago", and "Beer Drinkers & Hell Raisers"! They are the big rock radio hits on this blues rock milestone. "Beer Drinkers" is a vocal duet between guitarist Billy Gibbons and bass player Dusty Hill. (RIP Dusty. You were an incredible musician, and the music world misses you and your vast talent!) "La Grange" is about a brothel, and "Waitin' For the Bus" was always followed by "Jesus Just Left Chicago" (and He's bound for New Orleans)! I grew up thinking those two tracks were one long song! Lol

Coming at you today is a rare and extremely limited and scarce copy of this important rock record, and on a picture disc LP! It's the artwork from that original album cover, both front and back! It also comes with an obi strip on the backing card. The front side of the card is that Mexican food scene (which is making me hungry just looking at it! Lol), and the back is the Top's discography (up to a certain point). You don't see these pop up very often!

The only flaws I see are one on each side. Made in the manufacturing process. The 'buy it now' price is a bit lower than what I'd usually ask for with these Japanese releases. See pics for the flaws (last two pics). The vinyl record itself, besides the flaws I mentioned, looks awesome! Still all shiny and clean! I can't vouch for the sound, as I never play specialty vinyl picture discs and colored vinyl. But the majority of the moden day picture discs sound incredible, I'm told. So don't be afraid to give this blues rock masterpiece a spin.

Backing card looks new, and doesn't have any rips, tears, holes, or handwriting anywhere on it!

This would look great on display, hanging up in a picture disc frame on the wall, or just casually left out so your friends can get jealous. Anyway you like it, you just can't go wrong with classic rock from ZZ Top!!
