Condition:       Album Cover: Near Mint(Like New in shrink wrap[sale sticker on shrink wrap] – no marks, tears or scuffs on faces[color/gloss like new], one approx. four inch long slight upturn on bottom edge - not torn, all other edges like new).

Dust Cover Jacket: Near Mint, Original(Like new - no edge tears, ware, ring marks or scuffs on both faces and edges.).

Album: Near Mint: Like new – very lightly played, a couple hardly noticable small scuff marks that do not effect play, play tested(virtually no background noise, hardly noticeable between songs, like new).

Label:  Very Good(No marks around the hole - label surface crinkled on side 1[no tears & still good color, see photo]).

You are bidding on a very clean and very gently used record(excluding the crinkled label this record could be considered Mint were it not opened and played).  The start of the greatest boogy woogy band of all time!

I try to have a starting bid which is a very good value compared to other auctions of identical artist, title and condition.  I also do my best to clearly describe the condition of my records and back up this condition with comprehensive photographs of the exact item for sale.

All of my records for sale are from my personal collection and I have purchased all of them new.  I am very particular and take great care storing and playing my collection.  Many records in this collection were transferred to tape and played only once.  Stored in a smoke free environment.  After moving into a much smaller home I no longer have the room to store this collection so I have decided to sell, hoping others will get as much enjoyment from these recordings as I have.

I ship all records in a box specifically designed for record shipping to assure no damage to Album Cover, Album Dust Cover/Jacket, Vinyl record & any additional inserts.  Shipping costs are slightly higher with these boxes but a serious collector will appreciate this method.

I rate the condition of my records by the following criteria:

Mint (M)

Absolutely perfect in every way. Never been played.

Near Mint (NM)

A nearly perfect record. The record should show no obvious signs of wear. Sleeve will have no more than the most minor defects, such as invisible ring wear or other signs of slight handling.

Very Good Plus (VG+)

Will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it. Record surfaces may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect play. The label may have some ring wear or discolouration, but it should be barely noticeable. Sleeve will have some slight wear, lightly turned up corners, or a slight seam split. All but the most mint-crazy collectors will find a Very Good Plus record highly acceptable.

Very Good (VG)

Many of the defects found in a VG+ record will be more pronounced in a VG disc. Surface noise will be evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during a song's intro and fade, but will not overpower the music otherwise. Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as with light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound. Labels may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached. The same will be true of the sleeve. However, it will not have all of these problems at the same time, only two or three of them.

Good or Good Plus (G or G+)

Will play through without skipping, but will have significant surface noise and scratches and visible groove wear. Sleeve will have seam splits and tape, writing, ring wear or other defects will start to overwhelm it. If it's a common item, you'll probably find another copy in better shape eventually. Pass it up, but if it's something you have been seeking for years and the price is right, get it.... but keep looking to upgrade.

Poor (P) or Fair (F)

May be cracked, warped and won't play through without skipping or repeating. The sleeve may be water damaged, split on all three seams and heavily marred by wear and writing. Unless the record or sleeve is very rare you should pass it up.

Test results (if any were done) of item(s) in auction are described to the best of my ability in the ad. The results of all tests performed are disclosed in the ad.

Items sold as "Untested" were unable to be tested due to missing cables/adapters/toner cartridge/etc, lack of time, or other restrictions.

Batteries (when and if included) have not been checked for life of charge.
