As the name implies, we are selling off (over time) myprivate collection of original vinyl releases acquired by me from the mid1960’s to the mid-1980’s. My background – five years in broadcasting inprogramming and on-air and about ten years in the music industry in major labelpromotion and marketing.

With a collection of around 8,000 albums and hundreds of45’s, selections are concentrated in Rock, Blues, R&B, Folk and Jazz. Youcan drill down to some sub-categories. I.E., many early ECM disks, prog rock, and 80’s synth. Some of these rare albums have been sold off previously as I wasa 99.7 % rated seller on GEMM before they folded. All inquiries via email willbe answered.

Initially, I am only selling to US and Canadian customers. Anumber of years ago, I sold worldwide to customers in more than two dozen countries,I am delaying the introduction of international selling until I get used to theselling formats of Ebay and Discogs.

However, wealways want you to be satisfied with your selection (s) and we will do right byyou, our customer.

Vinyl .. .

Mint - high-gloss finish; never or once played; nophysical or identifiable marks or blemishes on the vinyl or label.

Near Mint- – NM records are shiny, with no visible defects. There is absolutelyno writing, stickers or other markings on the labels, nor any “spindle marks.”

Excellent or VeryGood ++ - E orVG++ record, If played, thesediscs should have no major surface noise. Except for a couple of minor thingswhich we will note, we would grade these Near Mint. VG+ records may showsome wear, including a light scuff or surface scratch that won’t ruin yourlistening experience. We will make visible inspections of all unsealed recordsto properly provide as accurate appraisal as possible.

Very Good – Surface noise may beevident, and discs may have noticeable scratches but are still playable.Somegroove wear may be visible, but some of the original gloss can still beseen. If these are VG records I couldn’t take off my turntable, then they mightbe listed in this category, if at all. They still provide a good listening experience, just not thesame as if you had opened it for the first time!

Album Covers. . .

NEAR MINT (NM OR M-) - NM covers are free of creases, ring wear and seam splits of anykind. Covers with cut-out markings,hole-punches or any perforations aren’t considered Near Mint.

VERY GOOD PLUS(VG+) or EXCELLENT (E) - VG+ covers have only minor wear, like some very minor seamwear or a small split. They may have some slight discoloring or surface blemish,or possibly a cut-out marking, as noted in our description.

Very Good (VG) - VG covers often have signs ofhuman handling, such as minor writing, tape or stickers (DJ, Promotional, pricetags, etc.). Ring wear in the middle or along the edges of the cover is notuncommon, although it may not be overwhelming due to color contrasts or glare. Noticeableseam splitting may appear on all three sides. Creases or corner dents might bevisible although they aren’t always obvious.

Note – All albums weship are the ones in our photographs. No media representation of the physicalpackage or discs are copied from on-line sources. Information provided aboutthe music content may include on-line sourcing.
