~ Cancon Vinyl Auctions ~ You are bidding on this Rare original U.S.A. Garage 45 by The The Zakary Thaks entitled " I Need You " b/w " Bad Girl " on J - Beck Records J-1006, original U.S.A. pressing from 1966.
Rare and total killer A-side U.S.A. Garage punk 1st 45 release by The Zakary Thaks that features an absolute stunning version of this song track originally done by The Kinks and penned by Ray Davies.
Absolute frantic loud screaming pounding garage vocals with wild over peeked monster electric fuzzy riff guitar work at it's best...better than "The K's" for sure...well, you be the judge.
The B-Side is an absolute drenched out raw knock 'em sock 'em killer fuzzy electric guitar masterpiece...can't think of anything quite as good as this...unless you flip back to the A-Side!
This rare original 1st 45 release from this group had a very small pressing run...and almost impossible to find in this fabulous condition. It was quickly replaced and picked up on Mercury 72633...which is also hard to locate today.
This exceptional 45 is truly worth adding to your existing garage 45 collection.
An outstanding copy - close to near mint other than label offset shifting on the B-Side and light label impression wear on both sides.
NOTE: The actual color of the labels are red...my scanner seems to prefer orange at this moment.
