Description

This is DGG 2563-795/802, special limited edition, individually numbered #179 of 2000 specially prepared for Great Britain. Recorded in the Berlin Philharmonic Hall for the Beethoven Year 1977.

Complete Beethoven Symphonies, with Karajan conducting the Berlin Philharmonic, with soloists Anna Tomowa-Sintow; Agnes Baltsa; Peter Schreier; Jose van Dam; and chorus Wiener Singverein

8 LPs with bonus interview disc, Joachim Kaiser interviewing Karajan.

41-page full colour booklet, along with colour poster of Karajan.

Made in West Germany.

Vinyl is grade A, as are box and inserts. Sides 7 & 13 have light marks that do not sound. Really excellent condition.
