Description

Scarce UK large Vertigo Swirl of the classic debut from black Sabbath. As you will see from the photos it does not have the Phillips credit.

Please note this has been play tested on my own record player from start to finish. Please read description carefully.

The original gatefold sleeve is in excellent condition with faint signs of wear. It is fully intact without any splits or stressing of seams or edges. All edges are nice and straight. There are some faint signs of rubbing at corners. It has the correct vertigo swirl on the front cover and the VO6 847 903 VTY identifiers on rear. All writing on the spine is fully intact. The spine is in excellent condition.

The record comes housed in its original vertigo swirl inner. The inner has a few creases and minor discolouration but doesn't have any splits. Overall close to excellent condition.

I have listened to both sides of the LP from start to finish. The LP does have some slight warping which is more noticeable visually when playing side A. The warp does not affect playback. The Goldring 2400 which I use tracks the LP perfectly. The LP visually is shiny and bright with a few minor marks on side B.

The A side is in near mint condition and plays with great stereo sound from start to finish without any pops clicks or distortion.

Side B does have a couple of more noticeable marks. The first mark does create some ticks for about 30 seconds. There is one one other mark which causes 5 or 6 pops towards the end of side B.
