Black sabbath master of reality original first pressing embossed box cover spiral inner bag spiral label
first U.K pressing 1Y//1 2Y//1 Matrix
This is the first U.K pressing of this incredible album and they don't get much better than this....
The condition of the vinyl is in near mint condition, I cant see any marks on it at all. The cover is fantastic,very shiny and still in its box shape... no marks or writing or any rips, just the faintest creases to the laminate on the edges , the spine is sharp and box like and text clear... near mint The labels are clean and spindle mark free but in one section of the spiral the is a very tiny 3 mm rub and is hardly noticeable on the white section, and perhaps invisible on the camera shots. The spiral bag is excellent The record itself is kept in a separate poly lined inner to keep it great. The Audio is fantastic, sounds incredible on the clearaudio.
Unfortunately no poster...
These are becoming very difficult to find in mint condition , almost impossible.... dont miss out.
Please note I use UK Record Collector grading system for all albums with the addition of the accepted Near Mint category:
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.
The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.
NEAR MINT: The record appears new but is known to have been played because the label has light spindle marks or because it has come from a previous owner
and is assumed to have been played by them
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality.
The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality,
despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches.
The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc.
The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
please note, i always photograph the matrix alignments and run outs as these are always in slightly different positions with every pressing.
