Description
Black Sabbath vinyl UK VERTIGO self titled first lp.
VINYL - LOOKS - Each side, though still reasonably glossy, has a couple of scratches (which don't seem to affect play) when held into the light. Like this whole album package, they are mostly great, but with some flaw. Glossy w/some scratches and some minor 'dirtiness' (for lack of a better term). VG+ SOUNDS - Though it is not totally silent in between songs or in the quietest parts, it IS a great listen. One can play it loudly at any point and not be distracted by noise. Tiny crackle CAN be heard in the quietest parts of the album, but again, it's a beautiful listen overall. It's just not perfect. EXC-
COVER - The top left front corner has a tiny tear, and the front top right corner looks like someone tore off a sticker (not carefully enough), and filled in the result with black magic marker. The spine is strong and the corners are just a little rounded. The inside looks great. No tears, writing, etc. VG/VG+
LABELS - SIDE 1 has discoloration, (dirt?) brown, yellow. SIDE 2 has the name ALAN written on it and has other 'dirty' discoloration along the bottom half. G+/VG-
VERTIGO INNER SLEEVE - Age spots but looking good, mostly. Together. I'm not sure if it is the proper one, but it is the one that came with it when I acquired it. (I can't yet tell which ones are which). At the least, it is an old, correct era Vertigo Swirl inner sleeve. EXC-
