Description

AUTECHRE - INCUNABULA   [reversed sleeve print pressing]
YEAR -  1993   LABEL -  WARP   LP17

Notes [from DISCOGS]

Black Vinyl. The inner gatefold sleeve for the 1993 black and silver vinyl pressing is on the cover and vice versa. Sent out to replace faulty silver vinyl version in 1993.

"with the same (typo)graphic [sic] layout over both landscapes on either side of the gatefold cover, you could decide which variant you preferred and fold and refold accordingly. In reality the way the sleeves are manufactured makes this impossible to do, but the contradictory, designed, organic idea is there nonetheless." -The Designers Republic, https://www.thedesignersrepublic.com/incunabula

This blurb indicates the sleeve may have been intentionally manufactured reversed. www.discogs.com/Autechre-Incunabula/release/10834877
