duke ellington & john coltrane
impulse A-30 mono
gatefold sleeve m-
vinyl exc
cleaned on VPI. orange/black original with van gelder stamp in dead wax. includes original abc/paramount inner sleeve. as with nearly all of the impulse auctioned by farmeralfalfa this week here on the bay the sleeve is in beautiful condition. wax is visually a bit scuffy but plays strong exc.
this record comes from the first of two jazz collections comprised almost entirely of '50s & '60s original mono pressings & promotional copies to be auctioned by farmeralfalfa here on ebay over the next six months. the collections will list approximately fifty records at a time, organized by label &/or sub-genre. many atlantic, columbia, prestige, riverside & (eventually) blue note titles. if this sounds like your thing add farmeralfalfa to your favorite seller list. this week's focus is impulse & ESP with some additional associated titles.
