Description

this is the 1959 first mono pressing of this album with "long play" on the bottom of the label. the vinyl is incredible on this 48 year old lp. if you examine real real close you will find 1 very light mark on each side that most people will not even see and that have absolutely no affect on the sound. you will not find cleaner vinyl on this nearly 50 year old record in my opinion. there are a few light spindle marks on the labels but the previous owner was extremely careful with the vinyl. the jacket is also in great condition, especially considering that i found this stored with no protection. the front slick is gorgeous with really no wear to speak of. there is, a light surface crease near elvis left ear that you will see only on close inspection. back cover also in great condition with only a tiny light x in ball point pen in the upper right corner. edges and corners are all intact except for the beginning of a split, about 1/4 inch, on the bottom seam near the opening edge. lp jacket easily grades vg++. also included is the original paper inner sleeve which is totally split on 1 side and partially split on the other 2 sides. also has a couple of small tears and shows some light signs of being handled.
