"Mirth"
(1979)
Music entirely for percussion: hand drums, trap drums; one track features some almost shouted abstract poetry on top of the percussion (rap?).
Passin' Thru Records PT 4238
Please NOTE: This record does not meet our customary high standards for condition, and we list it here only due to its relative rarity. It may be worth noting that in our more than two decades in the record business, with extensive experience with experimental music and avant garde jazz, this is the first copy of this one we have seen in *any* condition. Cover image shows virtually no wear, please note bottom seam is completely split for its entire length. Also please note ballpoint pen writing at upper left, as well as tape on spine at top corner, apparently for cataloging purposes, and original distributors' sticker, lower left. Record shows spindle trails, light to moderate sleeve scuffing, some light marks: VG+ ONLY. On these terms, satisfaction is guaranteed.
Shipping (in the US) is $4.00 USPS media mail or $6.50 priority mail; tracking included for either/or. Canadian buyers pay for airmail ($7). Buyers from all other countries pay for airmail; Europe, South America, Caribbean, $14; everywhere else, $15. We are always happy to combine multiple items to lower shipping costs. Shipments are sent on Mondays and Thursdays. For anyone anxious about SHIPPING METHODS; our records are packed in a sleeve outside the cover to avoid seam splits in transit, with a cardboard 'stiffener' to both protect the otherwise exposed record and to reinforce the package. We have been in the record business since 1987. We accept VISA/MC, Paypal.
Thanks for checking it out, and good luck if you're bidding.
