 for sale is my copy of the classic fela kuti lp shakara. this is the original emi nigeria 1st press. EMI LP008N.  i played the lp last night and am pleased to report it sounds great. vinyl side 1 - playback nr ex with no distortion and possibly 3 very light  background pops. the vinyl has paper marks from where it has been pulled out of its sleeve over the years. overall side 1 has no problems obviously its been played but find a copy of this which hasn't.... i will grade side 1 vg+ - ex. vinyl side 2 - as side 1 but with 3 audible clicks at the 1st breakdown which is about 2 mins in.... no jumps just 3 light clicks it sounds to me that side 2 has been played a bit more than side 1 but still sounds great.  i will grade side 2 as vg - vg+. the cover is in great condition for an unlaminated 40 yr old bit of thin card. the spine is strong. front and back are excellent . a bit of wear top and bottom seams but no splits tears or writing also this cover has lots of breasts on it which is always a plus no wonder fela looks pleased with himself as he sits there in his 70s pants....  LP WILL HAVE TO BE SENT RECORDED SIGNED FOR UK AND INTERNATIONAL I WILL GET POST QUOTES DURING THE WEEK SO IGNORE POST PRICES LISTED.
