Something rather special. Never before seen.
Eccentric loner instrumental Acid Folk from the Adelaide Hills, South Australia 1979. Limited to just 205 copies (stated on back of sleeve).
Old-time and modern instruments playing Houck's own contemporary compositions. Central to the record is Houck's Clough And Warren organ, which at times is driven far beyond it's intended rationale. Guitar, flute, strings and trumpet also make appearance and contribute to the record's general overall weirdness deftly exemplified in the cover art, an incredible automatic-drawing by Houck's lover and future wife Robyn.
Pressed on his own private Stonehenge imprint, this is the second of only two releases by Houck, both of which are genuinely impossible to find. After this LP he appears to have simply given up recording for social work and eventually retired to the S.A suburbs - of late writing garrolous letters of concern for international affairs to the local newspapers.

Condition
I grade my records under bright light so that there is complete correlation between how the record looks and how it sounds.
Vinyl: EX+ Music plays wonderfully loud, bright and clear. Bright top-end. No surface-noise. Under bright light vinyl is unplayed Mint-glossy and shows just a couple of sleeve-removal marks (almost none). Plays through brilliantly. Labels look like they were pressed yesterday and show no spindle-marking.
Cover: EX+ Fantastic sleeve. Very stiff and strong. Very clean and shiny. Bold bright colourful print. Corners and edges are very straight and sharp. Back is a little off-white and shows very light storage-marks. Great sleeve!
I visit the post office everyday, so if you're in the UK and want your record tomorrow, just get your order in before 16:30 GMT and choose one of the 1st class postage options and it usually arrives next morning. ( Europe delivery 3 days. Rest of the world delivery 1 week.)
