george harrison concert for bangladesh boxed set Lps.
Hello. I’m selling a nice copy of the boxed set of The Concert for Bangladeshi Desh, featuring George Harrison and various artists.
The set includes a box sleeve, three LPs, and a 64 page booklet with plenty of photos and information on the reasons the artists came together. It represented fund raising to help address widespread famine at that time in Bangla Desh.
The box is in good condition, not crushed or torn. There’s minimal paper wear on the corners. The color on the cover is not faded or worn. And there are some shallow scratch marks on the cover that are only visible when the cover is held a certain way depending on the light. I don’t have an explanation for them but they are not really obtrusive, in my opinion.
There are some small, light stains in one corner on the inside of the box. I suspect some moisture at some point in time. They are minimal and only on the interior surface of one corner. The paper on the cover is not affected.
The booklet included in the set is complete and in excellent condition with no tears, folds or stains. The records are nice and clean with no visible wear or damage. If I had to grade the vinyl I would say very good +, in fact I would grade the whole set to be in very good condition. I try to never ‘over sell’ on condition because vinyl is vinyl and I understand the importance of condition for collectors and audiophiles out there. But this whole package appears to be a fine, collectible set. Please see photos.
