unplayed and excellent condition. cat no. san001. glasvegas have been touted in print and verbally as the most unique and vital scottish band in the last 20 years since the jesus and mary chain and it is not hard to see / hear why. the visual impact, lyrical content and vocal / audio delivery of glasvegas is so very different to everything else going on just now. 'daddy's gone' brings fifties rock 'n' roll right up to date with large helpings of the mary chain and the phil spector's wall of sound. it's four minutes of the purest pop we've heard since johnny boy's 'you are the generation that bought more shoes and you get what you deserve'. one listen and you'll instantly fall head over heels in love. the flip 'flowers and football tops' is just as great - the drums are basic, the feeback drenches everything bar the crooning roy orbison esque vocal. it's perfection. this was limited and numbered to 1000 7" copies only on sane man records. this is number 0285.
