 My father has sadly passed away and being an avid fan of country and associated music all his life,he has left a huge collection of LPs  and CDs. They range from early 60s material to the present day.

POSTAGE, PACKING & THE BORING BITS  !

 UK POSTAGE

Please note that my standard postage is 2nd class

If you need your parcel much quicker the only guaranteed next day delivery is Special Delivery - contact me for a price.

The Royal Mail first class service is now only up to 3 working days delivery as their minimum service requirement!

ROYAL MAIL TERMS - All parcels are now sent by size rather than weight primarily, and the standard parcels economy service has been deleted.

Only the very smallest parcels qualify for the £2.80 postage rate (as at 2016) and then prices jump to £5.60 and more ..

Any parcel over 2 kgs is now far cheaper to send by courier

I am investigating other postage methods and will give you different options to choose from where possible

Please do not leave unfair comments re postal charges which are out of my control. I only add on a small percentage to cover materials, petrol and time.

It is after all your choice to purchase from me ….

PACKING

I recycle packing materials whenever I can. This keeps my costs down to pass on.

Your parcel may not look the prettiest but will be safely packed for its journey.

ROYAL MAIL OVERSEAS POSTAGE

Unfortunately Royal Mail has increased all its International postage services from 2nd April 2013 quite substantially...

There is now a minimum postal charge plus the country rate

If the value of goods I am sending is over £20, I can only post abroad if you are prepared to pay for signed for postage … this is because of the number of items reported undelivered, sorry.

DELIVERY

Please note that I generally only post out Mon to Fri, but this will be within 2 days of payment wherever humanly possible - children allowing!!

The Ebay posting standards I comply to is 3 working days however.

Royal Mail do not consider an item 'lost' until 18 working days have passed. You should always check with your local delivery office as quite often if they are unable to deliver this is where a parcel is taken. They are supposed to leave a card - but in my experience ... often don't unfortunately.

RETURNS

I check items before posting for damage, however depending on the packaging, sometimes I can cause more damage by opening boxes. So occasionally damaged items slip through the net or are damaged in transit. When this happens, please contact me and we will arrange replacement/refund as appropriate.

I have recently noticed a rise in the number of people winning auctions but then not paying, Please do not ‘hit the button’ if you are not a genuine purchaser… it simply puts up my shop prices for everyone else!
