Description
Notes: Original 1982 pressing on the artist's own label out of Ventura in NM/NM condition with rare 25 page lyric/art booklet. Fantastic concept LP with range of sounds from rock to hot tub to electronic and lounge crooning and he's drawing off the 60's thing throughout. DeCotes was a SoCal disc jock/video jock who passed away some time ago and if someone out there were to track down his old comrades I guarantee you there'd be a story to tell. Check his YouTube clips for some fun in the meantime. The needle-drop MP3 below is all from side one but there's way more here. Yet another J. Darrah/Gloriette discovery and man, this thing really rules in its own way. Rad mix of obscure rock, punk, psych, soul and miscellaneous private/small label LPs this week, see our other auctions...
