FRANKIE LEE SIMS - I'll Get Along Somehow b/w Rhumba My Boogie. Specialty Records (cat# 487) Original 1954 78 rpm White Label Promo Pressing

  This is a great white label promo copy of Frankie Lee Sims' I'll Get Along Somehow b/w Rhumba My Boogie. Released in 1954 on Specialty (cat # 487), Sim's delivers 2 smoking tracks that deserve wider recognition. I'll Get Along Somehow is a sold blues track and the vaguely latin-esque Rhumba My Boogie is far more boogie than rhumba. The side with I'll Get Along Somehow is very clean, shiny and looking brand new. The side with Rhumba My Boogie is cloudier on the surface, possible from fingerprints, and plays with an extremely light surface noise that will probably disappear with a proper cleaning. Both sides play very loud and clear as you will hear in the sound sample. The labels are very clean and looking good, there is a small notation written on one side that can be easily seen in the photos.
