The very first studio album to feature the talents of new recruit Blaze Bayley, this a MONSTER album: DOUBLE vinyl, evil and dark overtones, an epic 'Sign Of The Cross' (which sounds MIGHTY on vinyl) and the usual guitar sword play you expect from Murray and Gers.
On vinyl, this is almost impossible to find now. As with all the nineties maiden releases, the print runs were getting smaller due to CDs and many people simply opted for the cheap and easy digital option! Looking bad it's hard to see why as the luxuriously packaged double gatefold, thick clear vinyl with a GIGANTIC poster makes the cd look feeble! These records SUPER RARE and collectable.
CONDITION OF VINYL: NEAR MINT. The clear vinyl playing surfaces show absolutely no sign of having been played. The labels are mint with no spindle-marks.
CONDITION OF JACKET SLEEVE/POSTER: NEAR MINT. The packaging has retained it's brilliance. The front, rear, and inner gatefolds are all as new, with no dints or marks interfering with the art work! The spine is stiff and the text totally legible. The poster is five portraits of the group in suitably dark, gothic style with info etc. on the other side, It is uncreased and unused.
I grade according to the Record Collector Price Guide and almost never sell anything which is below EXCELLENT condition.
