Description
jimi hendrix. electric ladyland.1st press. original blue text . original large pictures of noel redding and mitch mitchell. track records 613008/9. upside down inverted numbers. excellent condition.[strictly record collector gradeing]. this classic double album is in fantastic clean condition. all sides have high gloss surfaces with just a few very, very, very faint hairlines only visible under strong light. it really is that GOOD.!!! the records play flawlessly on my rega planer 3 turntable with just minimal surface noise apparent on very quiet passages. as you would expect from a record in this great condition the sound quality is a joy to behold. the cover is also in very nice condition. the inside pictures are in fantastic reflective glossy condition and are a treat to the eyes, they look fantastic with barely no visible wear. there is some lght ring wear visible on the naked front cover with 3 light creases near the opening, and a very small quarter inch tear on the rear opening near the top. but the naked lady pictures are again in high glossy condition. there is also a crease line on the bottom half inch on the rear picture which extends accross the cover but this was present when i purchased it from new way back in the sixties. the spine is also in excellent condition with just 1 very small imperfection. overall, the cover is in at least vg+ condition. there is virtually no corner bending, fantastic. the matrix numbers are as follows. side A61300**8 A//1. side D 61300*8 b//1. side B. 61300*9//1 side C has all pressed numbers scratched and and replaced with hand etched 613009 b//1. [ * denotes scratched out numbers] .there was obviously some confusion at the press plant because of side A being backed by side D and side C being backed by side B. so they had to re hand etch the numbers for identification purposes after pressing them. the labels are very clean, in almost as new condition. this is a very clean example of this classic album. i honestly doubt that you will be able to find a copy in better condition. it is THAT GOOD. i will offer a full refund [minus postage costs] if you are unhappy and if you return the record to me within 5 days in the same condition as it was sent out. but i honestly feel that when you see this fantastic condition album you will not want to part with it! i will send the album in a record mailer with full reinforcement cards to prevent damage in the post. dont miss out on this rare opportunity to own a fantastic condition copy of this rare first press classic album. any questions ,please ask, and good luck.!
