nice one, here's a review found online....
mid-eastern psychedelic fantasy with sitar, tabla & fuzz!!! 3rd album originally released in 1966 on roulette. middle east ethnicity from NYC, a long time before the hyped world music movement. the accomplished oud player gathered a troop of skilled musicians to play the music of his forefathers. with a foundation in the traditional music of Turkey, Greece, Armenia and Arabia they created a captivating blend of exotic rhythms. melodies and improvisation.

   auction info & grading back this week with a heavy selection of world music: many unique LPs from india, eastern europe and the middle east, several rare groove & batucada jammies from brazil, and a fantastic collection of african records --- nearly 100 rare highlife / afro funk / afrobeat LPs, mostly from ghana. lots of great stuff, extensive audio clips posted on many of these as well.... keywords: west africa, nigeria, lagos, zaire, kenya, ethiopia, nairobi, afro soul, afro jazz, afrofunk, ethnic, drums, drumming, sitar, tabla. check em all out HERE.
