impulse A-9106 stereo
sleeve: vg+
vinyl: m-
cleaned on VPI, mono original orange & black label impulse with van gelder dead wax stamp. play grades m-. gatefold sleeve structurally very solid but shows cover & corner wear, upper left corner crush. always appreciated the program here: octet title piece-- three drummers, three horns!, massive trane/elvin duo & the beautiful quartet performance 'welcome.' one hellacious record.
this record comes from the first of two jazz collections comprised almost entirely of '50s & '60s original mono pressings & promotional copies to be auctioned by farmeralfalfa here on ebay over the next six months. the collections will list approximately fifty records at a time, organized by label &/or sub-genre. many atlantic, columbia, prestige, riverside & (eventually) blue note titles. if this sounds like your thing add farmeralfalfa to your favorite seller list. this week's focus is hard bop & soul jazz including prestige, savoy & blue note with some additional associated titles plus a few impulse & ESP pieces that were omitted from the last auction.
unless noted records are u.s. pressings & visually graded, m-/exc/vg+. m- is my highest grade for unsealed records. play graded records are evaluated on a revealing system. as a serious collector & audio enthusiast of many years my grading & descriptions are accurate & my packaging heavy-duty. multiple item buyers save on shipping. paypal only, full payment must be received w/ in 72 hours of auction ending, no exceptions. shipping to u.s.a. by priority or media mail with delivery confirmation for every shipment. sorry but i don't ship to russian federation.
u.s. priority mail shipping $8.50, $1.00 each additional LP, media mail $4.00, $.50 each additional LP . international airmail $23.00, $5.00 each additional LP. canada $15.00 airmail. buyer assumes all responsibility for postage and uninsured purchases.
