Description
The original bag of the 'Bag One' litho collection. 1970
Good condition with some small marks, please see images. From the limited edition of 300 the following are reprinted descriptions of the bag and the edition.
A John Lennon "Bag One" bag
White vinyl suitcase with zipper closure, buckle clasp, two handles, and luggage tag, reading "Bag One" on one side, with a facsimile signature of John Lennon. These bags originally housed the set of fourteen "Bag One" lithographs published in 1970. The prints were derived from a set of drawings that Lennon created for Yoko Ono upon their marriage in 1969.

Parisian couturier Ted Lapidus designed a white plastic bag with a zipper as a portfolio for the sheets. Bag One and the John Lennon signature were printed on the vinyl portfolio.

Contained in a white vinyl carrying case, with zip fastening and handles, printed Bag One on one side, with a facsimile of John Lennon's signature, with identity tag and key.
